Three Course Evening Meal in The Signature 1906 Restaurant
There are few places where food, wine and location come together as beautifully as 1906, where the philosophy of “progress in harmony with the past” is taken to heart. Working closely with local suppliers, the Trump Turnberry chef’s have created the indigenous 1906 menu using a medley of seasonal, Scottish ingredients. Each dish featured is a classic, that would be instantly recognisable to any one of our guests over the past hundred years.
Yet, this is cooking very much of its age and of its setting. The vegetables featured are grown just a few miles from Turnberry at Dowhill Farm and delivered fresh to the Turnberry kitchens daily. To create the first-class fish and meat dishes featured, Trump Turnberry works closely with Campbells Prime Meat, Scotland’s leading supplier of seafood and meats.
Fish comes fresh from Troon, just a few miles from Turnberry. Campbells carefully select produce from our coastline so not to place an unsustainable pressure on boats and fishermen. Only the finest Scottish beef is served in 1906. Cuts are matured on the bone for at least 21 days to ensure the best possible tenderness and taste is achieved.
